After many years working in the corporate world of finance, Mike Allison returns to sharing his true loves of music and storytelling. This native of Ft. Worth, TX has been based in Boston, MA for over twenty years.
After picking up his first pair of drumsticks at the age of 9, Mike ultimately became an award winning orchestral percussionist and was the tympanist for the Tarrant County Youth Orchestra, playing concerts for two Presidents, Jimmy Carter and Ronald Reagan.
Mike performed on stage in musical productions of Oklahoma, Sound of Music, and Guys and Dolls. But his passion was and always has been the blues, and blues-infused rock sounds of the thriving Texas music scene, drumming for his own band, Dante, and vocally fronting several others.
Mike left the music world to focus on supporting his family, but his passion for music and storytelling never left him.
Mike marks his return to music by going into the recording studio to record "Back to the Blues", expected to be released in the Spring of 2018..
